What does an illustration cost?
Prices vary according to how many people or pets are included, different sizes and framing options or if a home portrait or custom piece is commissioned. Please feel free to request a price guide for more info.
Are your illustrations handpainted?
Yes, all of my illustrations are hand drawn and painted in watercolour.
Do you do custom commissions?
Yes. If you would like to commission a custom piece, please email me with details and I will get back to you.
How long does it take to complete an order?
Between 2-3 weeks.
Do you work off of photographs?
Yes. Please note that group photos are not mandatory for family portraits, you are welcome to send individual images of each person/pet and I will combine them but please specify rough height differences.
What kind of photo's do you need?
I work off of clear, full length photographs, group photo's are preferable for family portraits but individuals are also fine as long as height difference is specified. Individual photo's of pets are also fine but please specify difference in size. Home portraits need images of the full length of the front of the house.
Does my illustration need to look exactly the same as the photograph?
No, details can be changed wherever specified.
Can you post my illustration to me?
Yes, at an additional fee I will courier your artwork to you. I courier your artwork from door to door.
The price is R100 - R200 depending on the size of your order (within South Africa).
